2/18/2023 0 Comments Highfive reviews![]() ![]() ![]() The camber profile wasn’t so hard to load up that it hindered the boards ability to ride in the fresh snow I got it in, yet was there when I needed it on groomers and hitting the park. In the variable snow conditions it was fun. Personal Thoughts: It says something when you want to ride this board more. Rider in Mind: The all mountain freestyle rider that wants a deck that won’t hang up. Quick edge to edge turns are nimble and responsive. It locks in well and wants to push through the snow to give a giant deep swooping arc. This board locks into board slides and presses decently enough, you just have to make sure your weight is either centered or over the board.Ĭarving: Ripping hard aggressive carves is easy and fun on this board. Jibbing: Having contact points that don’t catch is always nice if you don’t exactly get perpendicular to the rail. The board does have a lot of snap out of it so you have to maintain your weight over the sweet spot which isn’t a bad thing as it will pop out of any butter. But flat basing you will boost immensely.īutterability: The ever so softer flexing tips give a decent platform to butter on and the raised contact points don’t catch when swiveling around. Pop On Jumps: On jumps the only downfall is if you’re very edge heavy you might lose a bit of grip from the raised contact points. Load it up and be amazed at where you go. Ollies: The camber profile and the carbon layup of the core work together to give ample pop for boosting over rollers, off side hits, and dropping cliffs. It doesn’t buckle or chatter at speeds in any type of variable terrain and pushes through crud with ease. Stability: This board is lively yet damp and stable. The torsional give is there, but not overly abundant. Traditional camber with raised contact points.Ĭonditions: Heavy spring snow showers, frozen chunder, deep snow in spots, low visibility, high winds, and pockets of sunshine at times.įlex: This board comes in at just past a middle of the road all mountain flex making it stiffer under foot with just a bit more play in the tips. ![]()
